To say that Cheryl’s pictures are amazing is simply an understatement….

Cheryl was referred to us by a co-worker of mine about 4 years ago. I was pregnant at the time and looking to capture this special time in our lives with a maternity shoot. After our first meeting with Cheryl, I knew she was a perfect fit. She is warm, passionate, fun, and dedicated to her craft. You can really feel the love she has for her work in every beautiful and touching image she captures.

Almost two years and six sessions later, Cheryl has photographed some of our family’s most precious moments. From our beautiful maternity shoot to our daughters newborn session and on to her first birthday (cake smash, yes please!) we couldn’t be happier with the results. Her heart-warming photos brighten the walls of every room in our home, each more beautiful than the next.

Each time we approach a birthday, a milestone, a holiday, a….Saturday….I get excited that I will soon be calling Cheryl to schedule our family’s next session. We have truly found a photographer for life.

Cheryl is an amazing photographer. You can tell that she has thought out each shot, but she also has an eye for capturing completely unscripted moments. Her use of natural light and creative props speaks to her experience and attention to detail. She knows the best local spots for the perfect photos. Cheryl is amazing with kids, and a pro with newborns. I highly recommend her for newborn photos, maternity, family portraits and children. We will definitely use her again!

My family and I have worked with Cheryl for a few photo shoots now and I can’t say enough amazing things about Cheryl Polk Photography. Whomever said a picture is worth 1,000 words hasn’t seen the love in Cheryl’s photos. Words can never express her priceless dedication to the craft of photography. My family has had the pleasure of being photographed by Cheryl over the course of 3 sessions in the past 5 months (newborn, 2 months, & grandparents). She plans ahead and has an awesome energy my 5 year old can’t get enough of during sessions. He usually has a fake looking smile in photos, and she is really able to capture the essence of his loving personality during genuine moments handcrafted by Cheryl herself. I have recommended my closest friends and family to Cheryl, and all of them have been equally impressed by her talent. My only caution is to suggest you make sure you’re ready for a new addiction, because her images of your loved ones will be it! So blessed to have Cheryl in our home 6 days after my baby boy was born. Cheryl made us feel so comfortable and our photos turned out beautiful.

I was amazed at Cheryl’s patience with a new born baby. She was so prepared for all the situations that can occur with a newborn. We really appreciated her meticulous attention to details, down to the wipe warmer to keep my baby from waking from the shock of a cold wipe!
