Newborn photos are the perfect way to document all the details of your sweet new addition and something that you will forever treasure. I have invested countless hours and dollars to learn from some of the best newborn photographers in the country and continue to educate myself in the business. I truly love meeting each new baby and seeing the immediate bond within a family. There’s something so incredible about seeing a mom hold her newborn baby…or how they fit so perfectly into daddy’s hands...or how excited big brother/sister is for their new sibling. Being a mother of two, I can promise you that these moments will go by faster than you can imagine and I feel so incredibly lucky to be able to capture these moments that you will never forget.

The best time for newborn photographs are within the first 5-12 days after birth. At this age they are the sleepiest as they are still adjusting to their new life- and a sleeping baby makes for the most unforgettable photos. These first few days are also the one’s that go by the quickest, so I highly encourage families to contact me at least 1-2 months in advance to ensure a spot on my calendar. I realize how difficult it can be to get out of the house those first few weeks so this session will take place in the comfort of your own home. I will bring everything necessary-hats, bonnets, headbands, props, and blankets, etc. Complete Newborn sessions take about about 3-4 hours and Simply Newborn sessions are 1-1/2 hours; however the session is totally up to baby so the time can be less or more depending on baby's needs. The extra time is crucial for making sure both baby and mommy (and daddy) feel at ease and there is plenty of time for diaper changes, feeding, cuddling, and anything else your little one may need.
